Document Examination

Fraudulent documents can be detected when patterns of evidence of digital manipulation (“cut and paste”) of text, page substitutions, staple hole patterns, and more are found.

Other scientific document examination techniques used can determine what was altered (ex. $900.00 to $9,000.00) or erased, data from faded documents (ex. cash register receipts or carbonless copy agreements), what indented writing can show (ex. writing added after the fact or missing from another document), what was obliterated or what was under the correction fluid “white out”.
